Produktbeschreibung
In rubber formulations, high-viscosity fine kaolin acts as a premium filler, improving tensile strength, tear resistance, and processability. Its fine particle size (typically <2 μm) ensures uniform dispersion, reducing compound shrinkage and boosting dimensional stability in tires, seals, and industrial hoses.
For coating applications, kaolin’s exceptional opacity and rheological control are invaluable. As a key pigment in paints, it enhances hiding power, sheen retention, and scrub resistance while preventing sagging in high-build formulations. Its low oil absorption also allows cost-efficient pigment loading.
In refractory ceramics and enamel glazes, kaolin’s high alumina content (38–45%) and thermal resilience (firing up to 1,700°C) improve crack resistance, chemical durability, and gloss. It serves as a binder in kiln furniture, refractory bricks, and porcelain bodies, ensuring structural integrity under extreme conditions.
Whether refining rubber durability, elevating coating performance, or fortifying ceramic resilience, fine kaolin remains an indispensable industrial additive, balancing functionality with economic efficiency.
